Welcome to the new chapter in the Nectar & Vessel evolution.
A blog.
Sure, it's nothing fancy or revolutionary, but it seems like the right time now to put the proverbial pen to paper and share more words, inspirations & a curated space of beauty.
I liken Nectar & Vessel to an OASIS IN TIME. Ok, yes, we are a floral & design studio, but ultimately our floral artistry for your weddings & events stops time for a moment, so you can truly delve into the wonder of the moment, and be present.
Because isn't that the desire? To live in the present moment, to be so fully in love and in awe of the NOW that everything else just melts away?
It is for me, and I hope to share that with you.
I call it, "The Art of Living" or "Romancing Life" and I'll probably talk a LOT about that in this blog because it's something that I am so passionate about.
It's the little things really that make a life of romance: The notice of the variegated flower petal, the first sip of Early Grey tea in the morning, the homemade beeswax candle I light before writing your flower proposals...
Or perhaps in the flower studio: The spritz of rose water we give every flower before heading out the door, the high vibe music that plays all day, the botanically silk dyed ribbon we cut on the perfect bias for your bouquet...
Because at the end of the day, all we truly want is a moment of bliss with our dear ones, connecting in the most authentic ways and feeling an aliveness that we've only ever craved to feel.
This is what I hope to create here with this blog.
A remembrance and a desire -
To live a life so fully in love & in awe that it feels like living in a Nectar-Filled Oasis.
You are welcome here, whoever you are, to breathe a bit deeper, to love a bit more fiercely and to notice the wonder of it all.
